Photobooth Pricing, Compare, currencies and images
PhotoPricing is now Photobooth Pricing, with package Compare, multi-currency pricing, reusable assets, package images and price rounding.
New (12)
- PhotoPricing is now Photobooth Pricing, with a new logo and app icons.
- A new Compare tab lets you put 2 to 4 packages side by side. It shows package images, which items are shared or unique, and the price spread, and you can sort by name, price, duration or last edit.
- Pick a home currency (CAD, USD, EUR, GBP or AUD), then set a currency on each pricing item, equipment item and overhead line. Totals are converted to your home currency.
- Mark a pricing item as a reusable asset and enter its purchase price, lifespan and uses per year. The app works out its cost per event.
- Packages can have images. Upload and crop one or paste a link, reuse images from a shared library, and set a default image for a section. Packages without an image get a default picture.
- Group packages into named sections that you can rename and collapse.
- Round a package price up to the nearest $5, $10, $50 or $100.
- Each package shows a suggested price for extra hours, with its own markup.
- Duplicate a package with one click.
- The price breakdown now lists every item with your cost, markup, client charge and profit, plus totals for cost, gross profit and client price.
- Tag equipment as booth, computer, backdrop or other, each with its own lifespan for depreciation. Lifespans default to 5 years.
- Owners can set a temporary password when adding a team member, and can reset a team member's password.
Improved (9)
- The package library can be sorted by date or name, switched between grid and list view, and collapsed. Delete is now a visible button next to Load.
- Team changes show up for everyone right away without a refresh.
- The app reopens on the tab you last used and hides tabs you don't have access to.
- Changing a booth anchor's duration updates its staff hours. Packages that run longer or shorter than the anchor adjust the booth labor cost to match.
- Team Management moved into the profile panel.
- Only studio owners see the setup wizard. Team members go straight into the app.
- The setup wizard shows a saving state and closes when it finishes.
- Deleting your account now asks for several confirmations, including typing DELETE MY ACCOUNT.
- New landing page with a profit calculator, a feature tour, beta pricing and a guide on how to price a photo booth rental.
Fixed (6)
- Studio data can now only be read or changed by that studio's owner and team members.
- Inviting a team member no longer fails with a permission error. New invites now default to the Member role instead of Owner.
- The link in team invite emails now opens the right app address.
- Quantity and hours can be edited on items in the Misc section.
- Changing the type of an item inside an equipment group now changes that item instead of the group.
- Sign-in ignores extra spaces around your email and password.
